Reimagining embodied touch for the next generation.
TOUCH is an interdisciplinary research project redefining how we interact with the natural world. Through touch-based learning, children and young people will understand, value, connect with, and feel supported to take positive action for themselves, their communities and the environments they live in.
Embodied learning: Raising awareness of environment and sustainability through touch.
Digital haptics: Translating abstract nature topics into tactile interactions.
Collaborative research: A joint initiative between the Open University, the University of Edinburgh, Imperial College London, Learning for Sustainability Scotland and Sight Scotland.
